Movie FAQ
What type of movie formats can my frame display The PU8C, PU8W and PU10W can all display MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 files

My MPEG1 and MPEG2 files are choppy. What can I do? There are two solutions that may solve your problem. MPEG1 and MPEG2 use a lot of memory and processor power. Sometimes they cannot keep up with the data rate so you will need to either use faster memory (not guaranteed to solve the problem) or we prefer to compress the video to a more manageable format

What is video compression and how can I do it? Whether you're a Mac or a PC user, to get the right finished product, we recommend either Visual Hub for Mac users or visit Divx themselves if you are a PC user

What's the difference between avi, mp4, quicktime, mpeg4, divx - why do only some work? MPEG4 is a broad catch-all 'container' that houses a video and audio stream. Each component must be compatible with the frame for it to work ootherwise you might get video but not sound etc. Stick with a DIVX compression saved as avi and you will be very happy!

Is there a maximum length video I can play The length of video is only limited by the size of your memory card. About 1.5-2hrs can be stored on 512Mb when DivX is used to compress your video
